Oddmanrush Biography

Oddmanrush is a post-industrial music project based in Austin, TX.  Bass is my main instrument but guitars, hard and soft synths, etc. all get used. Musically, I generally live in groovy darkness.

I have been playing bass since high school.  I have played and recorded with bands while living in Charleston, SC; New Orleans, LA; Atlanta, GA; and Austin, TX.  These are mostly alternative rock band scenarios.  My three biggest musical influences are NIN, Phish, and Prince.

Live, Oddmanrush shows are mostly DAW-less improv.  This allows the greatest amount of artistic freedom when performing.  On bass, I have played live with SINE, Nemion, and others locally around ATX.  I am also a member of The Unlimited Stars.

Currently, I am working on a dark trip hop EP with Damascan Daydreams for a summer 2024 release.
